- Maine White Water Report The scheduled flow below Harris Station on the Kennebec is 4950 cubic feet per second between 10 am and 1 pm, 4050 from 1-4 pm, and 440 until midnight. There is a Dead River high water release of 6,000+ scheduled for Sept 5. River temperature is 72 degrees.

New for 2009
New Kennebec trips and vacation extras
We've added three new trips to our list of whitewater adventures.
MULTI-MAGIC KENNEBEC TRIP
Twice the run, twice the fun. The Multi-Magic trip is for the high adventure thrill-seeker on the Kennebec River. Raft the 5 mile Upper Kennebec Gorge through Class III to V whitewater, take out at Carry Brook, return to Harris Station and ride the Upper Gorge again. Take out at Carry Brook and return to base camp for a hearty barbecue. The Multi-Magic Adventure is offered any day excluding high-water release days and Saturdays. A minimum of 16 people is required. We will try to combine passengers from different parties to qualify for the minimum.
June & September $89 per person, July-August $99 per person. Minimum age 10.
SUNDAY AFTERNOON 2400 TRIP
This whitewater trip offers a fun paddle in a 6-person sport boat. The water release is scheduled at 2400 cubic feet per second-half the standard water level. Arrive at the base at noon, gear up and receive your safety and paddling orientation and head to Harris Station launch site. Paddle the upper gorge, followed by a riverside make-your-own sandwich buffet with lemonade and dessert. Float the lower river to take out at The Forks.

WEEKEND UPPER GORGE ADVENTURE
This trip offers a full Kennebec river trip with barbecue on Saturday and an upper Gorge Class III and IV trip on Sunday mroning. Take out at Carry Brook around noon on Sunday.
$ 149 pp Minimum age 10
TUBING AND FISHING
After your river trip, we have a dozen float tubes to leisurely float down the Dead River and a supply of spin casting rods to angle for trout. There is no charge for use of the tubes and a $5 fee for rod rental. Maine State fishing licenses may be purchased in The Forks at the general store.
CAMPFIRE BREAKFAST
Our early morning breakfast, served outdoors, includes real homemade home fries, eggs, breakfast meats, Magic's homemade baked special of the day, juice and coffee. A perfect way to start your day.
